Southern Cross Catholic College Woody Point Campus is at the southern end of the Redcliffe Peninsula and is the smallest of the Southern Cross campuses. With just over 200 students from Prep to Year 6, a strong, effective partnership at all levels ensures a friendly, supportive culture. A stimulating, engaging curriculum that sets challenging standards and addresses students' abilities, needs and interests, provides a high quality learning environment.

The Woody Point Campus, founded in 1969 by the Brigidine Sisters under the banner of Our Lady of Lourdes has a rich history and tradition. There has been extensive development of the campus over recent years to provide  modern and effective learning spaces for the 21st Century student. It is blessed with a strong feeling of community among students and staff and parent involvement is particularly strong.

Data and feedback is used to effectively facilitate optimum learning for individual students. Teachers have high expectations and support students to raise their personal expectations of themselves. Classes provide a challenging and rigorous curriculum for students which address all aspects of their development.

Prayer and celebration are a focus of daily campus life. Involvement in district sports, swimming programs, dance, drama, instrumental music, robotics and chess tournaments all contribute to the holistic development of each student.

With its contemporary learning environment, Woody Point Campus is blessed in all facets of its operation and thrives from being a small campus whilst receiving the benefits of being an integral part of a larger College network.
