In light of the Gospel and the educational values of its Founders, our College is a Christian community of lifelong learners committed to nurturing the gifts and potential of its members.                             We seek to serve the wider community, promote dignity and justice for all people and be active stewards of the environment.

Southern Cross Catholic College was opened in 1995. It began as a multi-campus College following the amalgamation of the Catholic primary and secondary Colleges on the Redcliffe Peninsula. With its amalgamation, it brought a rich history developed by the Brigidine Sisters, the Sisters of St Joseph and the De La Salle Brothers who taught in the original schools.

Reflection from Head of Campus

As a college, Southern Cross Catholic College has defined four learning phases for its students.  On this campus, we cater for the learning and teaching environments for students in two of these phases.  They are the middle years (Years 7-9) and the senior years (Years 10-12).  Students in Year 7 commenced on this campus in 2007.
