We were especially proud to see Anthony Young named the recipient of the BCE Award for Excellence in Learning and Teaching in a Secondary School, while Annette Wallace was recognised as a Highly Commended recipient in the category of Excellence in a School-Based Non-Teaching Role.
With more than 600 BCE employees nominated across 12 award categories, and an average of 15 finalists in each category, this recognition reflects the exceptional dedication, professionalism and passion Anthony and Annette bring to our College community every day.
Their contributions have a lasting impact on the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of Southern Cross Catholic College, helping to create opportunities for students to learn, grow and thrive. We are delighted to see their commitment acknowledged at a BCE, enterprise level.
We also extend our congratulations to fellow BCE Excellence Awards finalists Johanna Hauritz, Lisa Parry and Lucy Collins. Being named as finalists among such a strong field is an outstanding achievement, and we are incredibly proud of the many ways they enrich the lives of our students, families and wider College community.
These accolades are a reflection of the talent, dedication and care demonstrated by our staff each day and the positive difference they make in the lives of others.
Congratulations to Anthony, Annette, Johanna, Lisa and Lucy on this well-deserved recognition.
We're Proud to be SCCC!
