The Southern Cross Instrumental Music Department provides individual and group tuition to over 250 students from Prep to Year 12.
Instruments that may be studied include:
- Woodwind: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, Recorder
- Brass: Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba
- Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
- Guitar: Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar (all styles), Ukulele
- Keyboard: Piano, Electric Keyboard
- Percussion: Drum Kit, untuned and tuned percussion
- Voice: All voice types - Contemporary, Music theatre, Classical, Jazz
How to start lessons
Before a student starts lessons, an Instrumental Music Tuition Application form must be filled in and submitted to your campus office. The relevant music teacher can then contact you. This form can be collected from administration or can be downloaded here:
