There was a wonderful buzz on the secondary campus today as we welcomed our new Year 7 students, our Year 12 cohort, and all students in other year levels new to the College, to the start of their SCCC journey!
One of the most special parts of the day was the connection formed between our Year 7s and their Year 12 buddies. From finding their way around campus to learning more about life at Southern Cross, our seniors were right by their side offering support, encouragement and plenty of smiles. Students spent the day: Getting to know their buddies Exploring the campus and learning the daily routines Building friendships and confidence as they begin their secondary schooling Being introduced to the values, spirit and community that make SCCC such a special place. We are so proud of how warmly our students embraced the day, and each other. If today is anything to go by, 2026 is going to be an incredible year of growth, connection and new beginnings.
Welcome to the SCCC family, Year 7 and all new students! We also can't wait to see how our primary friends went on their first day, too!
