The Senior students of 2020 have again proven they are fighters, with the release of the 2020 ATAR results. This cohort has proven their strength and resilience by being the first cohort to attend Prep; the first to experience Year 7 as a part of high school, and the first to experience their final year of school living through a global pandemic.
With 52 students from the senior cohort eligible for an ATAR result, Assistant Principal, Curriculum, Ms Kate Mellor said the College students, staff and parents should be congratulated on the impressive results.
"Our 2020 graduates are to be congratulated on their outstanding academic achievements," Ms Mellor said.
"These results reflect the talent and hard work of the 2020 cohort, the professionalism and support of all teaching staff and the encouragement and guidance of our wonderful community.
"We are exceptionally proud of our students' performance and congratulate the students, staff and parents on these impressive results."
As well as those students receiving an ATAR result many also graduated with a VET qualification with either a Certificate II or III qualifications in a range of areas such as Business, Carpentry, Fitness, Engineering Pathways, Health Support Services and Hospitality.
Ms Mellor said the 2020 cohort will be remembered for their courage, compassion, integrity and gratitude during the unique challenges presented throughout the year.
Well done Seniors of 2020!
